Candela Flash Lamp Information

The flash lamp sits inside the laser head and converts stored energy into a burst of light at the predetermined setting. As a result, that energy passes through the rod and optics, narrows to the correct size at the hand unit, and finally reaches the treatment tip through additional optics that adjust the beam for the skin.

However, a significant drop in power usually means the flash lamp is no longer efficient and needs replacement. Additionally, if another component in the laser head is damaged, it can cause the flash lamp to burn out. Therefore, if you are unsure which component needs repair or replacement, you can send your machine to us for a free diagnosis.
