CALH1470 (7121-00-7120)

This is a new laser head, not a refurbished or rebuilt unit. All parts are brand new, including new metal parts and all new Flash Lamps, Triple Bore Flow Tube, Reflector, Light Blocking Hardware, and O-ring Seals.

These laser heads are all individually performance-tested in the factory. As a result, they show excellent output energy.

New laser heads greatly increase the useful life of the entire laser system, substantially lowering the voltages required for the same output energies.

Laser rod is NOT included.

We also offer installation of your laser rod and testing, laser rod refurbishing, and laser rod rework. For example, this service can help in the following situations:

  • When your system setting cannot achieve the setting and the power you request.
  • When you hear a thumping sound or when you do not get enough speed and energy during treatment.

This new laser head includes:

  • New metal and new water manifold
  • New flash lamps
  • New triple bore
  • New seal kit, including all o-rings
  • New light blocking kit
  • New flow tubes
  • Applying and re-coating with reflective powder

This Laser Head Fits the Following Machines

GentleLASE systems – GL / GL Plus
Mini GentleLASE
Mini GentleYAG
GentleMAX

We can also supply Yag and Alex laser heads and other laser rods if needed.

Candela GentleLase Laser Head Information

There are several reasons why the laser head can go bad. First, a water leak in the laser head can cause pressure to build up and break the laser rod. The rod is the device that channels the laser, so even one crack can make the laser head stop working.

Secondly, there is a reason why we are adamant about keeping the laser in a spotless-clean environment. If there is a small speck of dust on the optics, the laser will make contact with the dust and gradually burn the optic until the laser has nowhere to go except backwards or sideways. As a result, additional components can break. Additionally, dust can also burn the laser rod and even the laser head itself. It is also important to note that the flow tubes or triple bore can be damaged from water pressure or dust.

Lastly, a Candela GentleLase Pro laser head can malfunction or stop working altogether because of a damaged or broken flash lamp. Therefore, please pay attention to your lamp life. If you notice your power has decreased significantly, and you need more treatments to achieve the same result, it may be time to change your flash lamp.

In order to extend the life of your laser machine, we recommend a preventative maintenance service on your machine every six months. This helps ensure the safety of your patients, your investment, and your business, since a broken machine can cause delays and an inability to follow through on advertised services or scheduled appointments.
