Palomar LuxY Information
The LuxY is a high-powered handpiece that is typically used for treating hard-to-remove fine light hair. It is also great for eliminating pigmentation. To achieve this, the LuxY laser targets melanin which is a black to brown pigment responsible for tanning of the skin. The LuxY has a large 16X46 mm Spot Size, making it ideal for fast treatment times over a broad area of the patient’s skin.
The LuxY is a very popular choice for Palomar Starlux Series for removing very fine light hair that many machines cannot.
