Unlike other cooling methods, such as contact cooling, ice packs, or cryogen spray, the Cryo 5 can cool the skin before, during, and after a treatment. The Zimmer MedizinSystems Cryo 5 offered 6 adjustable fan speeds, a lightweight treatment hose, and hands-free operation. The Cryo Five weighed approximately 121lbs and was 38 inches in height, 13 inches in width, and 18 inches in length. The operator could customize the intensity of the Cryo 5 by choosing among 6 airflow rates and by adjusting the treatment time.
