Candela Flash Lamp Information
A flash lamp usually sits inside the laser head. The lamp creates energy at the desired or predetermined setting, then fires that energy into other components of the laser head, such as the rod and optics, before sending it into the hand unit. Additional optics adjust the size of the laser so the hand instrument can shoot it onto the skin. A significant decrease in power usually means the flash lamp is no longer efficient enough and needs replacement.
A damaged component in the laser head can also cause the flash lamp to burn. When you are unsure which component needs repair or replacement, you can send your machine to us for a free diagnosis.
