About This Candela Cryogen Plastic Cover
In general, this plastic cover shields the cryogen valve and spray nozzle assembly from dust, debris, and accidental impact during everyday use. As a result, it helps the DCD system continue to spray cryogen accurately and on schedule.
Over time, this cover can crack, discolor, or wear down from repeated handling and exposure to cryogen spray. When that happens, replacing it helps keep the valve assembly protected. In addition, a fresh cover supports consistent, reliable cooling performance going forward.
