Palomar LuxYs Information
Just as the LuxY, the The LuxYs is a high-powered handpiece that is typically used for treating hard-to-remove, fine, light hair. The difference between the two is the spot size. It is also great for eliminating pigmentation. To achieve this, the LuxYs laser targets melanin which is a black to brown pigment responsible for tanning of the skin. The LuxYs has a smaller 12X28mm Spot Size in comparison to the LuxY, making it ideal for difficult to reach and resistant areas as well as providing more accuracy during treatment.
The LuxYs is a very popular choice for Palomar Starlux Series for removing very fine light hair that many machines cannot.
