SYNERON CO2RE DISPLAY TOUCH SCREEN NEW MODIFICATION

Description

SYNERON CO2RE DISPLAY TOUCH SCREEN NEW MODIFICATION

The system has an option for the user to skip to the calibration screen.

This is useful in case none of the buttons respond to where we cannot go to the Alignment screen.

In order to skip directly to the calibration screen from system initialization, the following steps need to be taken:

  1. Remove the remote interlock.
  2. Press the emergency stop switch.
  3. Remove the key from the keyswitch.
  4. Press the footswitch.
  5. Turn the AC switch on while holding down on the footswitch.
This will take you to the interlock error message screen.
Place back all interlocks; press the footswitch and emergency stop button.
The system will then jump to the Calibration screen;
Using a stylus, touch the center of the square where the X is marked.
You will repeat this four times’ once in each corner as it displays on-screen.
Caution
Touch the screen firmly and quickly; if touched slowly the system will recognize it as two presses and the alignment will not be accurate.
The order of the four ‘X’s is: top left, top right, lower right and lower left. If an X is pressed and held too long it will detect it as more than one press and jump to the next X.
If this happens the sequence won’t be as mentioned. In order to not save this incorrect alignment, shut down the system before finishing the alignment.
Then input the Scale and Offset values that were written down or located in the rear panel label.
Input the correct power energies as well.

Power measurement is required in case the values were not written down

Note
This alternative method of screen calibration is a full system reset that sets the alignment and power values stored in memory to default.
For this reason alignment values (but not the power value) are typically written in a label located on the system’s back panel.
It is strongly recommended to write down these values before a full system reset is performed.
