Candela HV Dump PCB Board Information

The high-voltage (HV) dump PCB board safely diverts excess voltage away from the capacitor bank, protecting the system’s electronics from damage during each pulse cycle. Over time, however, component wear or a power surge can cause the board to fail.

As a result, a failing HV dump board can trigger high-voltage fault codes, prevent the laser from firing, or leave dangerous residual voltage in the system. Therefore, we recommend replacing the board as soon as you notice fault codes related to high voltage or capacitor discharge.
